Congratulations ! The stratospheric soprano Sabine Devieilhe announced a serie of cancellation for a very good reason as she is expecting a new baby ! She won’t perform as Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in November in Paris, neither as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in January 2020 at the Teatro Real in Madrid and the Liberta tour with Raphaël Pichon.

Her return to the stage should be in March with Meyerbeer’s Dinorah ou Le Pardon de Ploërmel at Deutsche Oper Berlin.
